Pastor Chris Wesley is the eldest son of the late Dr. Karry and Mrs. Cheryl Wesley. He surrendered his life to Christ at an early age and immediately began serving in various forms of ministry within his church, Antioch Fellowship Church. Chris started serving as a youth worship leader at the age of 12 and, after receiving the call of God to preach the gospel, preached his first sermon at age 15. Upon graduating from Trinity Christian High School in 2007, Chris began the pursuit of a ministry-focused degree first at The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, then at Dallas Baptist University. After serving in various full-time ministry capacities across the country, he returned home to the church that groomed him to serve as a staff pastor in 2018. In February 2020, he was elected senior pastor of Antioch Fellowship Church, succeeding his father. In the fall of 2008, Pastor Chris, who is also a songwriter, had the vision to form a group of young believers who were adamant about expressing praises to God through song. This group of young people came to be called UNDIGNIFIED PRAISE, based on an episode in the life of King David found in 2 Samuel 6:22. Undignified Praise, better known as UDP, is comprised of men and women whose purpose and priority is to bring glory to God in song, and most of all, in lifestyle. UDP is honored and humbled to be a group of young people who have survived great turmoil and succeeded against all odds. Some have graduated college, others have gotten married and started their own families, and others are involved in full-time ministry. In 2012, Pastor Chris and UDP released their debut EP entitled “Redeemed”. In 2019, their first full-length project “Encounter” was released. In January 2022, they released a new single entitled “Til Its Good” with an album to follow in the spring. It is the primary goal of UDP to be an example to all people, more specifically young people, of the great things God can do in and with the lives of willing vessels. Armed with the word of God, powerful testimonies, and unique giftedness, UDP not only leads people into God's presence through worship but also continues to chase after the heart of God daily.
